Our Mission

The Byram Township Historical Society (BTHS) is a non-profit educational institution which aims to preserve Byram Township New Jersey’s past, promote history education, and encourage heritage tourism.

Membership

BTHS welcomes all to join our society to further explore the fascinating history of Byram Township. The Society maintains:

  • The Roseville School House Museum located at 10 Mansfield Drive – Tours available by appointment call 973-570-3133
  • Lockwood Cemetery located on Route 206 just south of Lake Lackawanna Drive

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

The Byram Township Historical Society is seeking volunteers. The Society is operated by volunteers who have a passion for genealogy and the history of Byram Township.  There are a number of ways you can assists us such as; events personnel, research, cataloguing photos, etc.
